I grew up in Southern California and played at the beach every day of summer. I fell in love with the ocean the motion of waves, sand formations, and seashells. And, I’ve always been in awe of the multifaceted colors of the water sparkling under the sun . A life long desire to be able to paint what I saw waited inside of me until I finally got to explore it in 2019. I began practicing along with any YouTube tutorial I could find on painting seascapes. Ocean scenes surged my dreams and my days were spent learning techniques and painting. I soon discovered resin art and this whole new world opened up. Though it seemed to be the messiest kind of art one could undertake, I was captivated by the versatility and fluid look of resin. My family stood patiently in amazement as large resined seascape paintings with real sand, gemstones, crystalline minerals and seashells began covering the walls of our home. All of our friend’s Christmas presents were homemade for years to come, and the neighbors even commissioned pieces for their homes. I am just as inspired to create this art today as I was then.

This journey has been healing, exciting, satisfying and frustrating at times (the trials and errors working with resin), but, overall wonderful. I hope my art will bring tranquility to your home and inspire you to see and deeply feel the blue soul of the ocean.
